The 2025 edition of the Atobius Festival, held from 11 to 17 October in Dolianova, offered an immersive journey through the cultures, flavors and know-how of the Parteolla, confirming itself as an event able to weave local identities with contemporary visions.

Opening the festival was a well-attended inaugural evening at Ollu e Stentu, followed by a week full of experiences across the area: a varied calendar of activities designed to engage visitors, enthusiasts and local communities.

At the heart of the edition was the dialogue between tradition and innovation, expressed through labs, tastings, workshops and immersive experiences. From routes dedicated to oil and wine to guided visits to wineries and olive mills, up to cooking classes on typical local products, the festival offered an authentic story of the area’s food-and-wine culture.

Ample space was also devoted to discovering the landscape and traditions: treks among centuries-old olive trees, foraging activities, olive picking and cultural visits allowed participants to experience firsthand the deep bond between community and environment.

There was no shortage of moments of cultural sharing, such as exhibitions dedicated to the area’s traditional clothing, craft activities and events linked to Sardinian dance and folklore, enriching the program with strong identity value.

Atobius Festival 2025 stood out for its ability to turn Dolianova into a widespread cultural lab, where each day became an opportunity for meeting, discovery and participation.

An edition that enhanced local excellence and strengthened the bond between culture, land and community, leaving a meaningful mark on the festival’s growth path.

The 2024 edition of the Atobius Festival, held from 14 to 19 October in Dolianova, turned the area into a widespread stage of experiences, encounters and stories, able to enhance local traditions through a contemporary, participatory language.

For six days, the festival offered a rich program of labs, tastings, workshops and immersive experiences, engaging visitors and communities in an authentic dialogue between material culture, food and wine, and artisanal know-how.

The route wound through wineries, olive groves, dairies and landmark places in the area, offering unique chances for discovery: guided tours with tastings, sensory experiences linked to oil and wine, olive picking and walks among centuries-old olive trees. Moments that conveyed the deep value of the bond between landscape, production and identity.

Ample space was also devoted to “doing”: cooking classes on fresh pasta and traditional sweets, as well as hands-on labs, allowed participants to come into direct contact with the techniques and gestures of tradition, turning knowledge into a shared experience.

The festival ended with a lively final evening in the center of Dolianova, enlivened by craft workshops, music, dancing and food&wine tastings. A moment of collective celebration that brought together artisans, producers and the public in an atmosphere of conviviality and cultural exchange.

The 2023 edition of the Atobius Festival, held from 16 to 21 October in Dolianova, marked an important step in the festival’s growth, opening its doors to an ever wider audience with a program full of authentic, immersive experiences.

With the theme “A Taste of True Sardinia”, the festival offered a journey to discover the area’s deepest identity, through a calendar of activities weaving together food and wine, culture, and local traditions.

During the week, participants enjoyed hands-on experiences at production sites: tours and tastings in Dolianova’s wineries, visits to olive mills, workshops in dairies, and meetings with producers and artisans. From olive harvesting to EVO oil experiences, to workshops on making cheese and myrtle liqueur, each event told the value of local “know-how.”

Alongside the food-and-wine activities, the festival offered moments of cultural and landscape discovery: guided tours of monuments and archaeological sites, walks through the area, and outdoor activities enriched the experience, giving a complete and authentic picture of Dolianova.

Great attention was also given to the experiential and participatory side, with hands-on workshops—such as those on traditional pasta and aromatic herbs—that actively involved participants, turning them into protagonists.

The festival ended with a final evening in the historic center, enlivened by food&wine tastings, crafts, traditional games, music and dancing, creating a moment of meeting and conviviality able to bring together community and visitors.

Atobius Festival 2023 thus strengthened its identity as an event able to tell the story of Sardinia at its most authentic, enhancing the area through genuine experiences, relationships, and sharing.

From the outset, the Festival stood out for its vision: creating opportunities for encounters between people, traditions and places, turning cultural and productive heritage into authentic, shared experiences.

The programme put “doing” and “living” the territory at its core, with a structured set of activities: craft workshops, cooking classes, cheesemaking experiences, wine tastings and visits to local businesses.
